The mandate of The Indian Society of Agricultural Science is to promote inter-disciplinary research in the field of agriculture and provide a forum for expressing views on policies and programmes relating to agricultural development.

Membership Requirements for Article Publication
We publish articles by society members, and all co-authors must be at least annual members. The annual membership fee is Rs. 1000 per author, and all authors must become members. The first author is encouraged to become a life member, which is available for Rs. 6000. Payments to the society are accepted by bank draft, made payable to the INDIAN SOCIETY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCE, payable in Delhi/New Delhi. Online payment options are also available, and the bank details are as follows:
